Q: Do you offer a free, no obligation quotation?
A: Of course. We are more than happy to visit your property at a time convenient for yourself and quote for the required works.
Q: We are/I Am looking to have an extension built and need advice on handling our application with the council, can you help guide us as part of your service?
A: Yes. Paul has an excellent relationship with the Council and knows the correct people to speak to.
Q: Can you source all required materials and project manage our required works?
A: Yes. The vast majority of our jobs include us sourcing all materials, handling all personnel and ensuring the project is completed to the highest standard. This is inclusive in our service. Our experience has shown that customers who attempt to project manage multiple tradesman and sourcing materials themselves more often than not turns into a false economy with no savings and increased overall costs. You will have a much better experience contracting a company to complete your project from start to finish.
Q: Would we/I be able to view previous construction projects of similar size and requirements?
A: Yes. Of course you can. During the time frame of a project being completed, we build excellent relationships with our customers. They are usually delighted to show you the projects/work we have completed for them. Around 95% of our work is all based on recommendations. Our references and photos says it all!
Q: Is there a waiting list for desired work to be started?
A: This depends on your requirements. It is best to contact us for an accurate answer.
Q: Are your sub contractors qualified and insured?
A: Yes. All of our sub contractors needed to complete a job are fully qualified and have their own insurance.
Q: Who manages the projects?
A: Paul, himself manages all projects. He will be your point of contact throughout the process so you can relax and be stress free.
Q: How are payments handled and dealt with?
A: Payment is absolutely not required upfront. All respectable building companies will not require the full balance upfront. A detailed contract will be drawn up which will state set milestones customised to your project/works when interim payments will be required. The final payment will be required only once all works are completed. Our most common payment terms are between 3 and 4 intervals. Depending on the size of the project, Payments may not be required until completion.
Q: Can you guide us through the design process of larger works?
A: Yes. We can have our architect draw up your plans and Paul, with his vast years of experience, can offer advice and suggestions to match your budget.
Q: Are all the photographs on your website of your work?
A: Absolutely. All photographs document projects our company have completed.
Q: How long are quotations valid for?
A: This is usually six months. If you require a longer price guarantee, please speak to us
Q: We have plans which have been drawn up for an extension. Would we be able to email you for a rough estimate?
A: Yes. Please see our contact details. It is always advisable for a site visit for a more accurate quotation.
Q: Can we/I visit a previous extension you have constructed?
A: Absolutely. We have excellent relationships with previous customers and can arrange for a visitation. This is usually after the quotation has been accepted on costings.
Q: Are you able to draw up plans for submission to planning?
A: Yes. We can help you through the whole process. We have an excellent relationship with our architect and their personnel.
Q: We would like some alterations done ie new openings. Who needs to be involved?
A: We can supply you with a structural surveyor and a private building inspector if needed. We will take care of the rest
Q: Will a contract be drawn up before the project commences?
A: Absolutely. The contract will detail the whole process and payment intervals. Final payment is usually due once the project is completed.
